Panther cubs preschool logo of a small panther says big futures start small. Now enrolling 3-5 year olds

Every Panther's story starts somewhere. For many Prairie Grove families, it starts at the District 46 Early Childhood Center, and seats are open now.

The Early Childhood Center offers two programs for children ages 3-5 built around where young learners are in their development:

  • Morning session, Tuesday–Friday

  • Afternoon session, Monday–Friday

These are the years when children learn to share, take turns, follow directions, and ask big questions. Our early childhood program gives them room to do it all in a warm, welcoming setting, surrounded by teachers who know how to turn curiosity into confidence.

Early childhood students are also full members of the Prairie Grove school family. They join in specials like Kristina Walter's STEAM class, where clay, paint, and hands-on projects help even our youngest learners build, create, and solve problems.

Starting early matters. When children walk into kindergarten already comfortable with routines, classmates, and a love of learning, they're ready to hit the ground running.
